Since our founding in 1977, CCPH has held a leading position
as an advocate for California's history and historical resources, and as a network for all of California's public
history professionals. Our members make our organization a diverse, dynamic, and effective advocate for California's
unique heritage. CCPH allows professional historians, curators, archeologists, interpreters, archivists, preservationists,
historical organizations, and advocationalists to come together and share ideas. CCPH provides leadership for these diverse
interests through a variety of programs.
